Is the preservation of our country’s biodiversity your concern? Give your input into the draft National Biodiversity Framework

The Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism is inviting interested persons to submit written representations or objections on the draft National Biodiversity Framework to the Minister.

In terms of sections 38 and 39 of the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act, 2004 (Act no.10 of 2004), the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism has given Notice to publish the National Biodiversity Framework (NBF) to give effect to the objects of the Act. The draft NBF was published in the Government Gazette Notice no 30027 on 29 June 2007.
